AI always on and "bring your own AI" (BYO-AI)
How Sellio's AI works: it is on by default, and you can connect your own account (Claude, OpenAI, Gemini) to avoid paying for usage.
Sellio's AI is already ON. The assistant, suggestions, summaries, cleansing and agents work without you configuring anything, because by default the system uses the platform's AI key.
When the AI runs on the platform's key, usage is billed per use on your invoice (nothing needs to be activated). If you'd rather not pay for that usage, connect YOUR own AI account (Claude, OpenAI or Gemini) under Settings → AI by entering your API key: the AI then runs on your provider account, the usage is yours, and we do not charge for it. Keys are protected in a vault and are never shown on screen.
Exception: the Sellio Assistant (the agentic robot in the top corner) always uses the platform's AI and is billed per use, even if you configured your own key. You set a monthly spending cap for it in the settings.
