Delivery pipeline

Everything that happens after a deal is won: handoff, planning, execution, delivery and acceptance, in a delivery project per customer.

The delivery pipeline covers post-sale work: when a deal is won, the system automatically creates a delivery project for the account, linked to the deal, so you can track it from handoff to customer acceptance.

Enable the module

In Delivery (side menu), an administrator enables the module. It is a per-company switch that starts OFF: nothing changes until you turn it on, and everything that already exists keeps working.

How it works

  • When a deal is won, a delivery project is created automatically for the account, at the Handoff stage, linked to the won deal (no duplicates: one project per opportunity).
  • The pipeline has the stages Handoff, Planning, Execution, Validation, Delivery, Acceptance and Closed.
  • Each project stores the customer, source deal, owner, dates, progress and contract value.
💡 Open the Delivery projects board to track each delivery by stage.

Deliverables and billing on acceptance

Inside a delivery project you add Deliverables (what must be delivered and accepted). Mark a deliverable as billable and set its amount; when the customer accepts it (status Accepted), the system automatically creates a DRAFT invoice for the account. Nothing is charged automatically: finance reviews and sends the invoice. It is idempotent (a deliverable creates at most one invoice).

MILESTONE billing: set the Contract value on the delivery project; when the project reaches the Acceptance stage, the system creates a DRAFT invoice for the contract value MINUS whatever was already invoiced from its deliverables (no double billing). So you can bill per deliverable, per milestone, or both combined.

Client acceptance, satisfaction and management view

The customer can ACCEPT deliverables through their own portal (link sent by the team), branded with your company logo. Accepting triggers the acceptance invoice. In the same portal, once everything is accepted, the customer can answer a satisfaction survey (CSAT 1 to 5 and NPS 0 to 10).

On the Delivery screen (for admins) you track: project MARGIN (contracted revenue minus the costs you log, with a negative-margin alert), customer SATISFACTION (average CSAT and NPS) and an ANALYTICS panel (active and overdue projects, average progress, recognized versus deferred revenue, deliverable health).

💡 Ask the Assistant for a read: "what is at risk in delivery?" (alerts for overdue projects, overdue deliverables and low satisfaction) or an executive summary of the pipeline.
