Field service on your phone

The SellioCRM app now carries the work of whoever is out in the field, not just the CRM records.

The SellioCRM app now carries the work of whoever is out in the field, not just the CRM records.

My work

Open **My work** from the More tab. The screen has three parts:

  1. **Availability.** Say whether you are receiving new work. This is the same availability the routing engine reads before it hands you a conversation, a case or a task, so switching it off here really stops the flow.
  2. **Waiting.** The queue of items with no owner, in the order the server ranks them, plus **Take the next one**. When there is nothing for you, the app says how many items are waiting and why none of them can come to you (out of rotation, at capacity, missing the required skill, not in that queue).
  3. **Your day.** Your appointments, your open work orders, the offers you can still accept and the stop order of the route planned for the day.

Work orders are ordered by what actually matters on the street: what is already in your hands first, then what has run past the arrival window (with how many minutes), then the next window, then what is waiting on someone else.

A work order

Tap a work order to open it. You get the address and the way in (gate code, dog on site, parking), the customer problem, and one big button for the next step of the normal path. Everything that can go wrong (waiting for a part, needs approval, cannot complete, reschedule) sits behind a second tap, so nobody closes the wrong thing with one thumb in the rain.

Before you try to close, the screen tells you what still blocks it. Only two things actually block: a required photo and the customer signature. A checklist item still open is shown as a note, not as a blocker, because the server does not refuse the closure for that.

On the same screen you can tick checklist items, mark a work line as done (which is what pulls the part out of stock), use a part from the warehouse or the van, request a part (the order moves to "waiting for parts"), start and issue the service report, and jump to the case that originated the order.

Stock and equipment

**Stock** answers the question you ask in front of the customer: do I have this part in the van? Balances come per location, with reserved and available separated, and low stock flagged.

**Equipment** finds an asset by serial number, product or customer, with the warranty state and the cases already opened on that unit. From a case you can also link the equipment that the case is about.

Inside a case

The case screen gained the console tools: unified history, macros, suggested knowledge base articles, quick texts, followers and attachments on the reply (camera or file). Tap **Attach**, or hold it to pick a file.

What the app still does not do

We would rather say this than let you find out on site:

  • **There is no map inside the app and no route optimisation of ours.** The stop order comes from the route plan; tapping the address opens the map app you already use on the phone.
  • **No barcode or QR scanning, no voice dictation and no signature drawn with a finger.** These need a native library and a real device to be proven, and we do not ship what we cannot prove.
  • **Offline is a warning, not a mode.** The app tells you when it loses the network and pauses the queries, but it does not keep your day in the phone and does not queue writes. Closing the app without a network loses what is on screen.
