Generate charts and reports with AI, and ask your data

Describe the chart or the report you want in plain language and AI builds the finished artifact, always validated against the real catalog of objects and fields in your organization. You can also ask your data a question and get the answer with the numbers, without saving anything.

Building a chart or a report means choosing an object, a grouping, a measure and a filter, and that is where most people give up. Generating with AI turns it around: you describe what you want in one sentence and the CRM builds the configuration. The important part is that AI does not make things up: it can only use the objects and fields that exist in your organization and that you are allowed to see, and the configuration is checked before it is saved.

Generate a chart

1. Open the Dashboard.
2. Click More and choose Generate chart with AI.
3. Describe the chart, for example: opportunity value by stage.
4. Click Generate. The chart is created, validated and added as a block on your dashboard.

Generate a report

1. Open Reports.
2. Click Generate with AI.
3. Describe the report, for example: won revenue by rep. AI picks the object, the grouping and the measure.
4. Click Generate. The report is saved and shows up in your list.

Ask your data

1. On the Dashboard, click More and choose Ask your data.
2. Type the question, for example: how much do we have open in the pipeline?
3. Click Ask and read the answer in plain language, together with the numbers.

Ask your data is read only and saves nothing: the answer lives in the window itself. The CRM first computes the real aggregation over your data and only then asks AI to write the text using those already computed numbers, without recalculating or estimating anything.

Through the assistant

You can also ask for all of this in conversation with the Sellio Assistant, the bot available on any screen: create a chart of sales by region, build a report of revenue by source, or how many leads came in this month. Through the assistant there is one extra option that has no button of its own: asking for a project board, with phases, tasks and dates, built from your description.

Limits and permissions

• A chart or report description is read up to 1000 characters; a question to your data, up to 500.
• AI receives the catalog of up to 30 objects visible to you. If your organization has more objects than that, be specific about which one you want to analyze.
• For questions with no grouping, the calculation scans up to 2000 records.
• Generating a chart, a report or a board requires a role with write permission. Ask your data is pure reading.
• Everything honors your access: AI never builds an artifact on an object or a field you could not open by hand.
• A generated report starts private, visible only to you, and can be shared afterward like any other.

Common questions

• I got a message saying AI is not available. Artificial intelligence has to be configured in Settings, or the monthly spend cap for the organization may have been reached.
• Can AI invent a number? No. The configuration is checked against real objects and fields before it is saved, and the written answer is composed from numbers that were already computed. A request that does not line up with your data is refused with an explanation.
• The generated chart is not quite what I wanted. It is an ordinary dashboard chart: open it and adjust it by hand, or ask again with more detail.
• Does this consume AI? Yes. The usage is metered like every other AI usage in the organization and shows up in the monthly consumption. Ask your data uses two calls per question, one to plan and one to write.
• Can I delete what AI created? Yes. The chart and the report are ordinary objects and can be deleted like any other.
