Get quote reminders on WhatsApp
Be notified on your own WhatsApp when a quote reaches its deadline (valid until). Two steps: add your phone to your profile, then build a Quote-by-deadline automation with the Send WhatsApp to owner action.
When a quote reaches its valid-until deadline, the opportunity owner can get a reminder on their own WhatsApp (or SMS) to follow up. Two steps.
1. Add your phone to your profile
- Open My account.
- In the Phone / WhatsApp field, type your number in international format (E.164), for example +5511999998888.
- Save. Adding a number turns reminders on; leave it blank if you do not want them.
2. Build the Quote automation
- Open Settings, Automations.
- For Object, choose "Quote (by deadline)". The by-deadline (date) trigger is selected automatically.
- For the date field use "Valid until (deadline)" and set how many days after the deadline (0 = on the deadline day).
- Optionally add conditions on Status or Total (for example, only quotes that were sent).
- Under Actions, choose Send WhatsApp, target Ownerâs phone, and write the message. You can use {{opportunity_name}}, {{total}}, {{valid_until}} and {{link}} in the text.
- Save and keep the automation active.
đĄ Sending uses the ownerâs profile phone and the organizationâs Twilio account (Messaging integration). Without a profile phone or a connected Twilio account, the reminder is simply not sent, with no error. Each quote fires the automation at most once.
