Offers and applications · from proposal to live product
Once a party has KYC approved, it can be sold a product. The Offers screen creates the proposal and records the acceptance or the refusal as a suitability decision. The Applications screen runs the internal pipeline that starts from an accepted offer, moving through review, approval or decline, up to activation. Every decision is sealed on the immutable trail.
These two screens are the commercial side of the vertical, and they exist to prevent the classic mistake of a regulated institution: selling before knowing. Eligibility is not a suggestion on the screen, it is a lock. A party without KYC approved gets no offer, and an application cannot start without an accepted offer ahead of it.
First of all: the product catalog
The products you sell are your own catalog, with a code, a name, a family and a currency. It is the same catalog used when mirroring accounts on the Parties screen, so a product created here already serves both sides. Products are not a factory list: you create, edit and retire your own.
Offers: create, accept, reject
- Open Offers in the Financial Services menu.
- Pick the Party. The screen answers right away with Eligible, Not eligible or Needs review.
- If it reads Not eligible, the message already points the way: approve their KYC in Onboarding first.
- Once eligible, pick the product, enter the amount and the currency, set how long the offer is good for and click Create offer.
- When the client answers, use Accept or Reject. To reject, type the reasons separated by commas.
Offer statuses are Draft, Offered, Accepted, Rejected and Expired. Accepting or rejecting is more than flipping a label: both actions seal a suitability decision on the immutable trail, with who decided and when. That record is what answers, months later, why that product was offered to that client.
Applications: the internal pipeline
With the offer Accepted, the Apply button appears and opens the application. It exists to give a formal place to the review that happens between the client's yes and the product going live. The Applications screen lists everything in flight.
- Send to review moves the application from Submitted to In review.
- Approve records the credit approval and moves the application to Approved.
- Decline moves it to Declined and requires reasons separated by commas.
- Activate moves an approved application to Active, which is the end of the pipeline.
Approving and declining seal a credit decision on the immutable trail, the same way an offer seals the suitability decision. The notice is written right on the screen, below the buttons.
Where to watch the whole picture
The Dashboard screen shows two distributions tied directly to this flow: Offers by status and Applications by status. That is the place to see, without opening one case at a time, how many offers are stuck at Offered and how many applications are stuck In review.
Limits and permissions
- Both screens only exist with the Financial Services vertical enabled in Settings, Verticals.
- Eligibility looks at the party's most recent onboarding case. An old approval superseded by a newer case does not count.
- A rejection without reasons is not accepted, neither on the offer nor on the application.
- An application cannot skip steps: there is no activating what was not approved.
- Sealed decisions cannot be edited or deleted afterwards.
Frequently asked questions
- The offer expired, can I reuse it? An Expired offer is not reopened. Create a new offer, which starts with a fresh validity window.
- Can I have several open offers for the same party? Yes. Each one follows its own status, and the list can be filtered by party.
- I rejected one by mistake. The record stays, because the trail does not accept edits. Create the new offer and decide again; the most recent decision is the one that counts operationally.
- Where do I see the client's consolidated value after activation? Mirror the resulting account on the Parties screen and, if the client belongs to a family group, use Households to see the consolidated figure by currency.
