Sign in without a password: email magic link

On the login screen, besides signing in with a password, you can ask for a sign-in link by email and get in without typing a password. It is a safe alternative: it only works for accounts that already exist and the link is valid for a short time.

Password sign-in keeps working as usual. Passwordless is one extra option: instead of typing your password, you receive a link by email and get in when you click it. Handy when you forgot your password and don't want to reset it right now, or you simply prefer not to type a password on this device.

How to sign in without a password

  1. On the login screen, click Sign in without a password.
  2. Enter your account email and click Send sign-in link.
  3. Open the email that arrives and click the link to sign in. You land straight in the system.

For safety, the screen always shows the same message ("if the email exists, we've sent a link"), whether the account exists or not. That way nobody can find out, from the outside, which emails are registered.

💡 Passwordless does NOT create a new account: only people who already have one can get in. To create an organization, use Create account. If the link fails because it expired or was already used, just request a new one. Accounts with two-step verification still ask for the code from the authenticator app.
