Auto-Numbering新着
Auto-numbering creates a unique, sequential code every time a record is saved, in the format your operation needs. You build the pattern from ordered segments (fixed text, year, month, day and a counter), set the width, the starting number, the base and the reset rule, and a live preview shows exactly how the next code will look. Every opportunity already ships with a ready-made Opportunity number, and you can add a field like this to any object.
- Pattern by segments: fixed text, year (YYYY/YY), month, day and a sequence
- Width, starting number, decimal or alphanumeric base (base 36) and never/yearly/monthly reset
- Read-only on the form, generated on save, with a live preview in the builder

Auto-numbering is part of the free Sellio plan. Create as many fields as you need, on as many objects as you want, at no extra cost.
Configure without code: the pattern is built visually, with a preview before you apply
Works on any object, with its own counter per object
Opportunities come numbered out of the box, hideable like any field
The format your operation asks for
Combine the segments in any order: a prefix like OPP-, the year and month, and a sequence with as many digits as you need. The live preview shows the next code as you build.
Counter under control
Choose the sequence width, the starting number to continue from a legacy system, the decimal or base 36 base for short codes, and whether the counter resets every year, every month or never.
Opportunities arrive numbered
The Opportunity number field is born in YYYYMM plus a 4-digit sequence, resetting each month. It is read-only because the code is generated on save, and it can be hidden like any field.
Can I use it on objects other than opportunity?
Yes. Create an Auto-numbering field on any object, under Settings, Fields, and build the pattern. The counter is independent per object.
Can the number roll back to zero?
Yes, if you want. The reset rule can be never, yearly or monthly, combining with the date segments in the pattern.
Can I continue numbering from a legacy system?
Yes. Just set the sequence starting number to the next value you want to issue.
