Lead capture (web-to-lead) and scoring

Receive leads from a public form and prioritize them with automatic scoring.

The CRM captures leads automatically and helps prioritize them.

Web-to-lead capture

In Settings → Lead capture there is a public form link and an endpoint. Share the link (or integrate the endpoint into your website): each submission becomes a Lead automatically.

  • The form shows the Lead fields (email and source are required).
  • Round-robin distribution (optional): each captured lead is assigned to the next active user, in rotation.
  • "Generate new link" invalidates the current link and creates another.

Scoring (lead scoring)

In Settings → Lead scoring you create two kinds of rule. FIT rule: "when a field has a value, add X points" (for example Source = Referral → +30). BEHAVIOR rule: "for each email open, click, page visit or form submission, add X points". The score is recalculated when the lead is saved and also whenever a new marketing event happens.

Example: Source = Referral → +30; each email open → +5; each form submitted → +15. A referred lead that opened 2 emails and submitted 1 form sums 30 + 10 + 15 = 55.
💡 Each behavior rule has an internal event cap so a single behavior does not dominate the score. Page visits only count with behavioral tracking enabled (Settings → Privacy).

Automatic stage promotion (MQL/SQL)

Still in Settings → Lead scoring you set two thresholds: the score that promotes a lead to MQL and the one that promotes it to SQL. When the score crosses the threshold, the lead stage (Status field) or the contact stage (Lifecycle stage field) moves up on its own, with no manual work. Promotion only goes up: a score that later drops never demotes the record.

Example: MQL threshold = 40 and SQL threshold = 70. A lead that reaches 45 points becomes an MQL automatically; at 75 it becomes an SQL. If the score drops, it stays SQL.
💡 Leave a threshold empty to disable that promotion. Thresholds apply org-wide, to both leads and contacts.

Lead routing by score

Still under Settings → Lead scoring, the "Lead routing by score" section distributes leads by score band instead of a simple round-robin. Each band has a "from" value (minimum score) and an owner. When a lead's score is (re)computed and reaches a band, the lead is reassigned to that band's owner; if it reaches more than one, the highest-score band wins. With no band configured, the usual round-robin continues.

Example: Bands: from 0 → SDR; from 50 → Account executive; from 90 → Senior rep. A lead that reaches 62 points moves to the Account executive; when it crosses 90, it goes to the senior rep.
💡 It only applies to leads and only when the score changes. The band owner must be an active member. As long as no band applies, the lead keeps its current owner.
