Loyalty: a points program for your customers
Build a loyalty program for your customers: set how many points each unit spent is worth, define the tiers, enroll contacts and companies, and record earning and redeeming with a full history. The balance is always the sum of the ledger entries, and a correction is a new adjustment, never an edit of the history.
Loyalty is the points program for your CUSTOMERS (contacts and companies), unlike the Ranking, which is your team's internal gamification. You set the program up once, enroll customers and start adding points for every purchase or interaction you want to reward.
Set up the program
- Open Loyalty in the Customer success group of the menu.
- Under Program, set the name and how many points each unit spent is worth (for example, 1 point per dollar).
- Define the tiers (for example, Silver from 500 points, Gold from 2000) with the benefit of each. A customer tier is derived from the balance.
- Under Rewards, register what can be redeemed and the points cost of each item.
Enroll and award points
- In Enroll customer, choose company or contact, select the record and click Enroll.
- In the members list, click Manage on a customer to open the points panel.
- Use Earn to credit points, Redeem to exchange for a reward (the system checks the balance) and Adjust to correct manually, up or down.
Setting up the program and the rewards requires the Settings permission. Enrolling customers and posting points is available to anyone with access to the Customer success module.
