Quick filters on the board
Pin a select field (e.g. a second funnel or company) as a quick selector on the board bar and switch the value without opening each record.
On the Board (kanban) of any object, you can pin select fields as quick filters on the top bar. This lets you narrow down the cards shown without opening each record. It works for any object that has select fields, not only Opportunities.
How to pin a field as a filter
- Open the object in the Board view.
- At the top right, click "Filters".
- Check the select fields you want as quick filters (up to 4). The field that forms the board columns is not listed.
Each pinned field becomes a compact selector on the bar, next to the other controls. Pick a value to see only the cards with that value; pick "All" to see everything again. When you pin more than one field, the filters combine (AND): a card must match all of them at once. Each column total is recalculated according to the filter.
Renaming the field is reflected in the filter
The selector label follows the field name. If you rename the field in Settings → object → field (for example, from "Embudo" to "Company"), the filter on the bar shows the new name automatically. Nothing needs to be redone.
Search in specific fields (the + button)
Next to the search box there is a "+" button. By default, search looks for the text across all searchable fields of the record (name, email, phone, select, text fields, relationships, etc.). Click "+" and pick one or more fields to restrict the search to just those. This helps when a common term appears in several fields and you only want to find where it matters (for example, search only the "Company" field, not the description).
- Type the term in the search box.
- Click the "+" button beside it and check the fields to search in.
- The counter on the button shows how many fields are selected. To go back to searching everything, open "+" and click "All fields".
