Reports (chart and export)

Build reports without code: group by a field, count or sum, and view as bars, pie or table, with CSV export.

In Reports you build analyses without code: choose the object (e.g. Opportunities), group by a field (e.g. Company, Stage, Source) and choose the measure, either Count or Sum of a value field.

Filter before grouping

Use "+ Filter" to restrict the records considered before grouping, with the same operators as the lists (equals, does not equal, contains, > < ≥ ≤, empty, filled). Combine as many filters as you want (all must be true). Click "Generate" to apply; the chart, the table and the CSV export then reflect only what passed the filter.

Example: Opportunities · group by Stage · filter Status = open and Value ≥ 100000 → a funnel of only the large open deals.
💡 The filters are also stored with the report when you save, so when you reopen it, it comes back already filtered.

Visualization

  • Switch between Bars, Pie and Table in the corner of the result.
  • Grouping by a relationship field (e.g. Company) shows the NAMES of the related records, not the codes.
  • "Export CSV" downloads the result (group, count and sum) to open in Excel/Sheets.

Save (personal or shared)

Give it a name and click Save to reuse the report later, with object, grouping, measure and filters stored. It appears in the list of saved reports.

By default the report is personal (only you see it and can delete it). Those who manage settings can check "Share with the team" when saving: the report (with 👥) becomes available to the whole organization.

💡 You can open and use a shared report; only those who manage settings can delete it. Your personal reports stay only with you.
💡 For analyses on the Dashboard itself, use "New chart" on the Dashboard (personal charts). Reports are the dedicated area to build, view and export.

Advanced BI (pivot, join, funnel and cohort)

The "Advanced" tab opens a self-service builder that aggregates directly in the database (scales to many records). Pick the object and the type of analysis.

  • Pivot: cross two or more dimensions (Rows x Columns) and add several measures at once (count, sum, average, minimum, maximum).
  • Relate by lookup (join): group or measure by a field of a related object. E.g. opportunities by the company's Industry, following the Company lookup.
  • Funnel: pick a stage field and see the count per stage plus conversion against the top and the previous step.
  • Cohort: group by month (or day/week/quarter/year) of a date and track the total and the "converted" per cohort, with a condition you choose.

You can group dates by day, week, month, quarter or year. Save the advanced report with a name (personal or shared) and reopen it anytime: it shows in the list with the "Advanced" badge.

Example: Opportunities · Rows = Stage · Columns = Industry (from Company, via join) · Measures = Count and Sum of Amount → a cross-tab of how much each stage is worth per industry.

Explore (semantic engine)

The "Explore" tab builds reports over ready-made datasets (Opportunities, Leads, Companies, Products) with aggregation directly in the database. Choose the dataset, add dimensions (group by, up to 3, with date grain), measures (count, sum, average) and filters (AND/OR). Click "Run report" to see the table; export to CSV.

  • Field security: sensitive fields (e.g. Cost) only appear for those who have permission; what you cannot see never leaves the database.
  • Currency security: value sums are grouped by currency automatically (they never add up different currencies). In "Convert currency to", choose a target currency and each row is converted at the prevailing rate, keeping the original value alongside.
  • Period: choose a preset (today, last 30 days, this month, trailing 12 months...) and the date field that serves as the anchor.

Act on the report

Each row of the result (a group) has an actions button (⋯): open it to see the records in that group (drill) and apply a bulk action to them, without leaving the report.

  • Create a task for each record in the group (follow-up in 1 click).
  • Set a field (e.g. change the source, the segment) on every record in the group.
  • Assign a new owner to the records in the group.
  • Add the group to an email sequence (only contacts with consent and an email address; it does not duplicate anyone already enrolled).
💡 The actions respect your permissions: they only change the records you can edit, and business rules still apply (e.g. marking as won still asks for the reason). There is a safety limit per batch; if the group is too large, refine the report.
💡 A saved report can become a Dashboard card: on the Dashboard, enter edit mode and select the report under "Saved reports".
💡 The Explore tab consolidates the history and is the basis for comparisons and trends. The simple and advanced reports keep working as before.
