K-12: questionnaires, siblings and legacy
Parent questionnaire, student questionnaire and teacher recommendation come ready to use on top of the versioned application form. Siblings and former students in the family are read from the records the school already keeps, and a box ticked on a form never turns into a discount by itself. Part of the Education vertical, optional and off until an administrator turns it on.
The K-12 block sits on the Education screen. Choose the programme and press Seed the K-12 kit: the K-12 admissions pipeline is created if it is not there yet, and three questionnaires are prepared for that programme, the parent questionnaire, the student questionnaire and the teacher recommendation.
Each questionnaire is born switched off. Seeding prepares it; it becomes reachable only when someone activates it in the form builder. Pressing the button publishes nothing to the internet.
Sibling and legacy: what the family says and what the school has
The parent questionnaire already carries the two questions that matter to a K-12 school: is there another child enrolled here, and is a parent or a relative a former student. That is a declaration, and it is treated as one.
Beside it, the screen shows what the records say. A sibling counts as verified when a person in the same household, who is not a guardian of the applicant, has an enrolment. A former student appears when someone in the family holds a former student role or has a completed enrolment.
The effect on tuition
Choose the tuition plan and the screen simulates the amount with the family context applied. Nothing is charged and nothing is saved: it is the same simulation as the Tuition screen, reading the same plan versions in force on that date.
The sibling discount itself is still the one configured under Tuition, with the school own rule. This screen only supplies the context: sibling_verified, sibling_count, legacy_verified and legacy_count. If the rule asks for a verified sibling, a family that only ticked the box does not get it.
