Account, plans and platform billing

How the administrator manages the plan, usage limits, add-ons and platform billing, and where to see it all.

The administrator also takes care of the commercial side of the account: which plan is active, how many licenses, which limits and when it makes sense to grow. This article shows where all of that lives.

Plan and licenses

In Settings → Plans and licenses you see the current plan, the included features and the number of licenses (users) in use. Each active user consumes one license; deactivating a user frees the license back.

The free model

The free plan is forever: it is not a trial that expires. There is a generous monthly usage limit; while you stay within it, there is no charge. When you go over the limit, the corresponding paid plan applies. Track usage so you are not caught by surprise.

Per-seat subscription

Beyond usage, the platform can charge a recurring per-seat subscription (per active user). When it is on, your invoice shows a separate seats line (number of seats times the price per seat), added to the usage amount. This subscription is a charge of its own: the monthly free limit applies only to usage, so the seat subscription is billed even when your usage stays within the limit. You always see the final price on your invoice.

Add-ons and limits

Some advanced features (more storage, metered integrations, AI capabilities) work as add-ons: they sit ready in the account, but only start costing when you enable and use them. The default is conservative: nothing is charged by mistake just for existing on the screen.

  1. Track the month's usage to know when you are close to a limit.
  2. Enable only the add-ons the team will actually use.
  3. Review licenses when deactivating users so you do not pay for idle seats.

Platform operator view

If you operate the platform for several customers (Master profile), the Platform → Billing screen consolidates costs, invoices and limits per customer. This view is exclusive to the operator and is never exposed to CRM users.

💡 Treat licenses and add-ons as a recurring cost: a quick monthly review prevents paying for empty seats and for features nobody uses.
