My account · your details, language, password and sign-in email
My account holds everything that depends only on you: light or dark theme, two-step verification, your public scheduling link, your profile details, the interface language, your email signature, a password change and a change of sign-in email.
Almost everything in a CRM depends on an administrator. My account is the exception: these are the settings for your own person, and you handle them without filing a request. Click your name in the top corner and choose My account.
What is on the screen, top to bottom
- Appearance: switches between light and dark theme. It is a preference of the browser you are using, so it does not follow you to another computer.
- Two-factor authentication (2FA): turns on or off the requirement for a code from your authenticator app.
- Public scheduling link: the address you send a prospect so they can book a meeting with you. There is an Open button to check how it looks.
- Profile details: full name, job title, platform language, sign-in email, recovery email, phone and email signature.
- Password: change your password, with your organization's rules listed right on the screen.
Profile details
- Fill in Full name and Job title.
- Under Platform language, pick the interface language from the ones available.
- Under Recovery email, enter an alternate address. It is used to regain access if you forget your password, and it can be different from your sign-in email.
- Under Phone / WhatsApp, use the international format, for example +15551234567. Entering a number turns on WhatsApp and SMS reminders; leave it blank to receive none.
- Under Email signature, write the text that is automatically appended to the emails you compose in the CRM. You can also upload a signature image, such as a logo or banner.
- Click Save details.
Changing your password
- In the Password card, type your Current password.
- Type the New password and repeat it in Confirm password.
- Click Change password.
The list Your password must have, right above the fields, shows the rules in force at your organization. If the current password is wrong, the screen answers Current password is incorrect. If the new password repeats one of the last ones stored, or if the policy sets a minimum age and your password is too recent, the change is refused with the matching explanation.
Changing your sign-in email
- Click Change email, next to the current address.
- Type the new address and click Send confirmation link.
- Open the inbox of the NEW address and click the link you received.
- Go back to the sign-in screen and log in with the new email.
Nothing changes until you click the link. The old address also receives a notice that the change was requested, which serves as an alert in case the request did not come from you. If the new address already belongs to another account, the request is refused.
Who can do this
- Everything on this screen belongs to your own account and requires no administrator permission.
- You do not change your permission role here, nor which teams or territories you belong to. That is the responsibility of whoever administers the organization, in Settings.
- The Job title field on this screen is descriptive. It grants and removes no permission at all.
