Create a board from a template

Save time by starting from a ready-made template. When you click New board, you see a gallery of models by category (project management, marketing, product and software, HR and operations). Pick one and the board comes ready with its sections, colored typed columns and a few example rows. You can also start from scratch.

A template is a ready-made board: instead of building everything from scratch, you start from a model with the sections, the right columns and a few example rows. It is the fastest way to kick off a new project.

  1. Open Projects in the menu and click New board.
  2. The template gallery opens, with models grouped by category.
  3. Click the template that fits your work. The board is created right away and you land inside it.
  4. Adjust anything you want: rename the board, change section names, edit the columns and example rows, or delete what you do not need.

Categories and models

  • Project management: Project plan, Quarterly roadmap and Portfolio tracking.
  • Marketing: Content calendar and Campaign plan.
  • Product and software: Product roadmap, Backlog and sprint, and Bug tracker.
  • HR: Recruitment pipeline and Employee onboarding.
  • Operations: Team tasks and Request queue.

Each card shows a short description and a preview of what the model creates (how many sections, columns and rows). The content comes in your language.

Start from scratch

At the top of the gallery there is a Start from scratch option: give it a name and create a blank board, with the default groups and columns, to set up your way.

💡 The template is only a starting point. Once created, the board is entirely yours: everything can be edited, added or removed without affecting the model or the other boards.
