OKRs and strategic goals

Set objectives with numeric key results, run check-ins and track progress and health per period.

OKRs connect strategy to execution: an Objective (what you want to achieve) and its Key Results (how you measure it). Objective progress is the average of the key results, and health compares how far you have come with how much of the period has elapsed.

Where to find it: in Projects, click "OKRs and goals" at the top of the page. Each objective shows as a card with a progress bar and a green, amber, or red health badge, and you expand the key results to record check-ins.

Create an objective

  1. Pick the level: individual, team or company. Objectives can have a parent objective to form a hierarchy.
  2. Set the period (quarter, year or custom) with start and end dates so the health calculation works.
  3. Add 2 to 5 numeric key results.

Key results and check-ins

  • Each key result has a start value, a target and a unit (number, percent, currency or yes/no).
  • Increase goals (e.g. 0 → 1000) or decrease goals (e.g. 100 → 0) are supported: progress is the fraction of the way covered.
  • Run a check-in to record the current value, with a note and a confidence level. Progress recalculates instantly.

Automatic progress from projects

A key result can pull progress from a project board: choose the source "% of tasks done" or "average task progress" and link the board. The value updates when you recompute the objective.

💡 Health turns green (on track), amber (at risk) or red (off track) by comparing progress with the time already elapsed in the period.
