Sending safety (channel accounts, quota, window, warm-up and consent)

Protect your channel reputation across campaigns: set up channel accounts with daily quota, a time window in the account timezone and warm-up, and manage per-channel consent. The same rules apply to email, WhatsApp and SMS alike.

Blasting too many messages at once, at odd hours, or to people who did not ask for them burns your domain and number reputation. Sending safety wraps your campaigns with the same protections the best players use, applied to email, WhatsApp and SMS alike.

Open Settings and go to "Sending safety". You need permission to manage settings.

Channel accounts

A channel account represents a sender you want to protect (an email domain, a WhatsApp/SMS number). You can have several accounts per channel: the engine does simple rotation, picking the least-loaded account that can still send.

  • Channel and label: name the account (e.g. "Primary domain").
  • Daily quota: the daily send cap. When exhausted, the next steps wait for the reset (they do not fail).
  • Time window: start and end (e.g. 09:00 to 18:00) in the account timezone. Outside the window, sending waits for the next opening.
  • Timezone (IANA): e.g. America/Sao_Paulo. Quota and window are computed in that timezone.
  • Warm-up: start slow and ramp the volume up to warm the reputation.
  • Activate/deactivate: inactive accounts are not used.
💡 With no channel account configured, sending works exactly as before, with no quota or window limits. Accounts are an optional, progressive reinforcement.

How warm-up works

With warm-up on (stage 1 or more), the daily volume ramps up from the day it started. While warming, the cap is the smaller of the daily quota and the warm-up ceiling for that day. Once it graduates (past the end of the ramp), the normal daily quota takes over.

Each contact can have a consent per channel: Opted in, Opted out or Unknown. Before sending, the engine checks: only "Opted out" blocks the send (the step is skipped). "Unknown" does not block, so channels with no consent history keep working as before.

  1. On the page, scroll to "Per-channel consent".
  2. Paste the contact ID and click "Load".
  3. Adjust the status for each channel (email, WhatsApp, SMS).
💡 Email opt-out and communication categories still apply as always. Per-channel consent generalizes that concept to every channel, without regressing anything.

Human intervals and text variation

Beyond accounts, the engine humanizes sends automatically: it adds a small random delay (jitter) between steps, within per-channel limits, and supports text variation via spintax {hi|hey|hello} and default values {{first_name|friend}} in templates. The choice is stable per recipient: the same contact always gets the same variation.

💡 When the quota is exhausted or it is outside the window, the enrollment neither advances nor fails: it "breathes" and is rescheduled to the next valid time, without losing the lead.
