This document applies to the customer relationship management software-as-a-service platform, websites, applications, APIs, software, documentation, dashboards, reports, artificial intelligence features, support, and related services made available by SellioCRM, LLC, a limited liability company.
For purposes of this document, "SellioCRM," "Company," "we," "us," and "our" mean SellioCRM, LLC. "Customer," "you," and "your" mean the person or entity accessing or using the Services. If you access or use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that organization, and that organization is the Customer.
This document is incorporated into and forms part of the SellioCRM Terms of Service unless expressly stated otherwise.
This Privacy Policy explains how SellioCRM collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information in connection with the Services. This Privacy Policy applies where SellioCRM acts as a controller or business for its own processing activities. Where SellioCRM processes personal data on behalf of a Customer, the Data Processing Addendum and the Customer's instructions govern that processing.
1. Information We Collect
SellioCRM may collect the following categories of information:
Account information, such as name, business email address, company name, job title, phone number, password credentials or authentication identifiers, and account settings.
Billing and transaction information, such as infrastructure billing setup, invoices, payment status, tax information, usage metrics, and payment processor references. SellioCRM does not intentionally store full payment card numbers when a payment processor is used.
Customer Content, such as CRM records, leads, contacts, prospects, customers, companies, deals, opportunities, activities, tasks, notes, files, attachments, emails, communications, templates, automations, reports, configurations, imports, exports, prompts, outputs, and other data submitted to the Services.
Usage and device information, such as log data, IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, session information, pages viewed, features used, API calls, email usage, AI usage, storage usage, database usage, timestamps, diagnostics, crash logs, and performance data.
Support and communications information, such as messages, tickets, emails, meeting notes, survey responses, and feedback.
Marketing information, such as preferences, campaign interactions, referrals, website forms, and event participation.
Cookie and tracking information, as described in the Cookie Policy.
2. How We Use Information
SellioCRM may use information to:
- provide, operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Services;
- create and manage Accounts
- measure usage and calculate Infrastructure Charges
- process transactions, invoices, taxes, and billing
- provide support and respond to inquiries
- authenticate users and prevent unauthorized access
- monitor performance, availability, reliability, deliverability, and security
- detect, prevent, investigate, and respond to fraud, abuse, spam, security incidents, and policy violations
- personalize and improve user experience
- send administrative, transactional, legal, security, billing, and product communications
- send marketing communications where permitted by law
- comply with law, legal process, and regulatory obligations
- enforce agreements and protect rights, property, and safety
- generate aggregated or de-identified data
3. Legal Bases
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, SellioCRM may process personal information based on performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent, compliance with legal obligations, protection of rights and safety, establishment or defense of legal claims, or other lawful bases available under applicable law.
4. How We Disclose Information
SellioCRM may disclose information to:
- service providers, subprocessors, vendors, and contractors that support the Services;
- payment processors and billing providers
- hosting, infrastructure, database, storage, traffic delivery, security, analytics, communications, email delivery, support, and AI providers
- Affiliates and corporate group entities
- professional advisors, auditors, insurers, and legal counsel
- authorities, regulators, courts, or law enforcement where required or appropriate
- parties to a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction
- other parties with Customer's direction, consent, or authorization
SellioCRM does not sell Customer Content. SellioCRM does not disclose Customer Content for third-party advertising purposes.
5. Customer-Controlled CRM Data
Customers may submit Customer Content that includes personal data about Authorized Users, leads, contacts, prospects, customers, vendors, employees, representatives, and other individuals. In most B2B CRM use cases, Customer determines what Customer Content is submitted, how it is configured, who can access it, how long it is retained, and how it is used.
Customer is responsible for providing required notices, obtaining required consents, selecting lawful bases, honoring opt-outs and unsubscribes, responding to data subject requests, maintaining accurate records, and complying with laws applicable to Customer's CRM data and communications.
SellioCRM processes Customer Content as a service provider, processor, operator, or equivalent role where required by applicable law and the Data Processing Addendum.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
SellioCRM uses cookies and similar technologies as described in the Cookie Policy to operate, secure, authenticate, remember preferences, measure usage, improve performance, prevent fraud, and support marketing where permitted.
7. International Transfers
SellioCRM is based in the United States and may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, SellioCRM uses appropriate transfer mechanisms, contractual safeguards, and technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information.
8. Retention
SellioCRM retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing the Services, maintaining Accounts, billing, tax, accounting, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, backup, and enforcement purposes.
Customer controls retention of many categories of Customer Content through account settings and use of the Services. Deletion requests may be subject to backup cycles, legal obligations, security needs, and technical limitations.
9. Security
SellioCRM uses commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure. Customer is responsible for secure configuration, user access, devices, credentials, exports, integrations, and use of Customer Content.
10. Privacy Rights
Depending on location and applicable law, individuals may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, port, withdraw consent, opt out, or appeal certain decisions relating to personal information.
Requests relating to SellioCRM's own processing may be sent to privacy@selliocrm.com. Requests relating to Customer-Controlled CRM Data may be referred to the relevant Customer.
11. Marketing Communications
Users may opt out of marketing emails by using unsubscribe links or contacting SellioCRM. SellioCRM may still send administrative, transactional, billing, legal, security, and service-related messages.
12. Children's Privacy
The Services are intended for business use and are not directed to children. Customer must not knowingly submit children's personal information unless expressly permitted by the applicable agreement and law.
13. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Controls
Some browsers or devices may provide Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. SellioCRM will respond to legally required opt-out signals as required by applicable law and as described in applicable privacy notices.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
SellioCRM may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted or communicated through reasonable means. Continued use of the Services after an update becomes effective means the updated policy applies.
